Announcements regarding final coaching assignments and further team information for the season will be posted soon, as they are available. See you at tryouts!
Registration is an important step #1. It takes only a couple of minutes and is important information for us to have early and takes only a couple of minutes. It is Never too early to register! If you are ready, you can do so now!
Step 1. Fill out the Maine Juniors Tryout Form
Please answer every question thoughtfully and accurately and submit the form only once. This information is used for coaches making selections as well as club contacts for team communications and other club information throughout the year.
This form will let us know you will be coming to tryouts! The form can be found here: TRYOUT FORM.
Step 2. Register with USAV
USAV is the parent organization under which Maine Juniors operates. Each player must be registered with USAV before coming to tryouts. The USAV membership fee must be paid online when registering.
On the second registration page, you have the chance to select ‘Maine Juniors’ as your Club. Club will appear as a drop down choice in the upper right of the second registration screen.
- If you have registered with USA Volleyball in the past you can renew by clicking https://webpoint.usavolleyball.org.
- If this is your first time registering with USA Volleyball then use https://webpoint.usavolleyball.org/wp/memberships/join.wp?mbr_ChapterID=25971.
Once you have completed these two registration steps you are ready to attend tryouts. Please let us know if you have any questions or any problems registering.
Spread the word to others and new players. Please feel free to forward this information to others who may be interested in joining Maine Juniors for the first time. Encourage players to check out our website. Describe your experiences with club volleyball and Maine Juniors and have them contact us with questions at email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org or for higher-level questions email@example.com.
Step 3. Please Bring the USAV Medical Release Form
We have made that form easy for you to access – just download the 2017 USAV Player Medical Release Form, print it, and bring the completed form with you to your first tryout date.
Step 4. Player/Coach Form (optional)
If you are playing on a high school volleyball team we would like you to complete a Player/Coach form with your high school coach prior to your tryouts with Maine Juniors. This is not required, but highly encouraged. Download a PDF here: 2016-2017 Maine- Juniors Player/Coach Form
Step 5. Intention/Commitment Forms
Team Intention & Club-Player-Parent Commitment Form: The Form assists you to make almost all up-front considerations in advance for your family decision prior to team selection. Knowing costs, tournament participation, practice frequency and our mutual commitment to each other in advance is a hallmark of our Maine Juniors experience. We confirm this with the Team Intention and Club, Player and Parent Commitment Form. Without your explicit commitment, coaches may not select teams that include the best players for each level and there would be significant confusion and delays. We suggest you download the age-appropriate intention form, review it with your parents, and make sure you and your parents sign it before coming to tryouts.
