Costs to play is based on each individual team and their travel/tournament schedule. We pride ourselves on being transparent and in providing your family with ALL information you need BEFORE tryouts to be fair to your decision making and commitment processes. Below are the costs from the 2018-2019 season; costs for 2019-2020 will be available shortly. Despite our efforts to avoid cost increases, there may be modest ones. Teams for which conditioning services will be provided will have larger increases, but the “value added” will be well worth this. Somewhat higher deposits will also be required for all teams.

Boys Teams Costs
16U Boys total dues: Total $290 ;
Before Tryouts: non-refundable $10 tryout fee and dues deposit $100 (see below)
After Tryouts: 2 payments of $95 on 11/21 and 1/15
Girls Team Costs
The prices below are the costs for the 2018-2019 season. These costs include the DUES DEPOSIT you paid at tryouts.
Tournament entries represent most of these costs. Our administrative team are all volunteers and our coaches and director are paid a very small stipend for their time and efforts – and are not even 100% reimbursed for all expenses. Clearly our costs are higher for teams that have more tournaments due to the additional fees involved.
Southern Teams – Additional Costs
In addition to the team/participation costs there are the following fees which you may or may not need to pay:
Tryout Fee (collected at tryouts)
- 18 National – $60
- 16-18U Elite Teams – $50
- 14-18U Club+ Teams – $40
- 16-18U Club Teams – $40
- 14 Club Teams – $30
- All 12U Teams – $15 (evaluation fee)
If you are at tryouts both weekends, you only pay tryout fee once.
- 16U Boys – $10
- 14U Boys – $10
Team Participation Deposit
This deposit is deducted from the total participation dues for each team and is refunded if you do not accept a position on a team.
- 16-18U Elite Teams – $700
- 16-18U Club+ Teams – $700
- 14-18U Club Teams – $350
- 14 Gold, 14 Silver – $500
- All 12U teams – $150
- 16U Boys – $100
- 14U Boys – $100
Maine Juniors Uniforms – Jerseys & Spandex (one or two may be required – depending on position and weekend tournament participation). These are available for purchase on the registration form and will be available for purchase at tryouts.
Depending on the team for which you play, there could be additional out-of-pocket expenses for transportation (flight/bus), hotels, or meals. We have provided a sample of these expenses (based on 2017-2018) for tournaments outside the New England Region as a guideline.
Northeast Teams – Additional Costs
Dues Deposit (due at registration): $150
Tryout Fee (due at registration): $30 (non refundable)
Uniforms: same as Southern teams
