Gorham High School Varsity Coach: 2017-present

Since beginning coaching for Maine Juniors in 2015, I have gone on to accept the varsity coaching position at Gorham High School (2017). During the summertime, I hold camps and open gyms for my players and also run camps at the arena in Saco through Maine Juniors.

Playing Experience:

I began my volleyball career in my sophomore year of high school. I played for 3 years and in between school seasons played club in Maine Juniors, where my 18U national team ranked within the top 10 teams in New England. I played for Saint Joseph’s College for two seasons and now continue to play in MSVB and Yankee tournaments as well as play outdoor doubles in the summertime.

Coaches Outlook:

I am very much looking forward to getting to work with 15 national once again. There is a lot of work to be done to turn 10-12 players from different schools into a team that will be regionally and nationally successful, but I have no doubt we will get there. One of my strengths as a coach is creating a team with heart, balance, and continuity of goals and beliefs throughout its players, which gives me high hopes for this group of young ladies coming up to 15 national to get started!

Why I Love Coaching:

I love coaching because I am able to share my favorite sport with other players. I admire the work high schoolers put into wanting to be better athletes and I can help them become better athletes. I enjoy being a strong role model and always doing my best to instill good ethics, morals, and kindness within players. I look forward every year to tryouts and getting to work with new players.

My Day Job:

I work as a customer service representative at Patrons Oxford Insurance. I coach volleyball year round as well between Maine Juniors and Gorham High School. 🙂
