My Name: Jenn Bayley
Team: 17 National
I previously coached 4 years with Maine Juniors and also was the assistant varsity coach at Greely High School for 4 years. I have done setting clinics, private lessons and helped out various high school and JO teams.
I was a 4 year setter in high school and played 4 years of Junior Olympic volleyball after which I went on to play for the University of New England here in Maine. I continue to play in adult leagues and tournaments throughout the state and plan on doing so until I can’t anymore! 🙂
I am SO excited to be getting back into coaching full time with Maine Juniors! It has been so amazing to watch the talent level grow so tremendously throughout the state and I am so grateful for the opportunity to help it continue to grow! I am so lucky to be also surrounded by such a wonderful organization (which has also grown tremendously!) and strong group of coaches. I hope to continue to apply Gold Medal Squared fundamentals in combination with hard work, dedication and FUN to have a successful season!
Why I Love Coaching:
The sport of volleyball has been such a big part of my life. It has taught me so much about hard work, dedication, goals, sportsmanship, relationships and so much more! Coaching young adults is so much more than just teaching them the game, and I am humbled to be a part of their success both on and off the court. I feel compelled to give back to the game and share my love and passion with developing players who the feel the same fire I do!
My Day Job:
I have been a registered nurse since 2004 and work in intensive care. I am also a clinical instructor for nursing students at the University of New England .
I am originally from North Kingstown, RI although my family has always spent winters and summers here in Maine. After I graduated from UNE, I met my husband Tim, who is a native Mainer and settled in Scarborough, where we live today with our 3 children Owen, Avery and Isla…. and our dog Merlin 🙂

Other Info To Share:
I consider myself to be an approachable person and I always want my colleagues, players, teammates, co-coaches etc…. to know that!
Please don’t hesitate to bring your questions, comments and concerns forward!
Thank you to my mom and Dad <3 Without your endless love and support, I wouldn't be anywhere near as successful as I have been in this game I love so much! xo
